There's a view of the roastery from the seating area at White Rhino's Fort Worth Avenue location, which is the upside. The Dallas roastery cafe replaced the closed Bishop Arts and Garland spots and has a spacious interior with plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and a full food menu that runs from avocado toast to single tacos with salsas. Remote workers and small meetings are well-served by the layout. Outlets are plentiful, the space is open enough to spread out, and the food side keeps you fed past lunch.
Latte art classes with Ariel are a draw. The Beltline Blend and the Decaf whole beans get named by home brewers picking up bags. On the drinks side, the Cold War is the specialty pull, and Jocelyn comes up by name for the consistency of her lattes. The avocado toast and single tacos are the food picks. None of this is fussy. The operation knows what it is.
There are real flaws worth flagging. Indoor temperature swings hot or cold depending on the visit, which a few customers have called out across multiple stops. Service is uneven too, which staff is on shift carries the day. Some visits feel polished, others noticeably less so. If you need uniformly attentive service every time, this is not always the spot.
Who it suits: remote workers who want plenty of seating, parking, and outlets near downtown Dallas, customers who want a full food-and-coffee menu with a roastery view, and anyone curious about latte art classes. Less reliable if you're sensitive to indoor temperature or expect every visit to deliver the same polish at the counter. Come for the space and the food. Hope for the better-day version of the service. Order the Cold War and the avocado toast if you're new, and pick up the Beltline Blend on the way out.
