Acento Coffee Roasters

Acento Coffee Roasters is Luis's shop in Point Loma. It's a bean shop with an espresso bar, and Trapo, a black Scottish terrier, greets you at the door. There are around eight roasts at any time, and Luis weighs and grinds beans in front of you. A bag runs about $18.

The Ethiopia as espresso comes with sparkling water on the side. The honey and cinnamon latte, iced caramel latte, Freddo, cold oat milk latte and cortado are other good orders.

The room's small and relaxed, with little seating and no wifi, so most visits are quick. Staff and regulars know each other by name. With eight roasts on offer, there's always another one to try next time.
