Alamo Coffee Company is on Key Avenue in Lampasas, with a drive-thru and a shaded patio with swings for the kids. Inside, there are armchairs, tables and an upstairs loft. Breakfast runs through the morning. There's wifi, and it's mostly families and locals. Come early for quiet.

The Tres Leches latte is the signature. The Asian Cowboy and Brewchata have fans, and the Mayan mocha has some heat. There's a pumpkin frappé in season, and the Tiny Texan for kids.
