Alchemist Coffee Overland

Alchemist Coffee's Overland location is in a strip mall in Boise, but inside it's warm and stylish, with wood, black walls, hanging plants and big windows. There are couches, communal tables and small corners for working or hanging out, plus free wifi and plenty of outlets.

They roast in-house, with blends and single origins that change with the seasons. The Bourbon Caramel Latte is the favorite, and the espresso's good. For food, the spicy bacon breakfast burrito is the local pick. They make their own salsa, bake fresh pastries, and top their avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning and balsamic.

You can buy beans in the shop or online, and some fans order from out of state.
