The way most people meet him is at the Alpharetta Farmers Market on Saturdays, where the cold brew has built him a small, devoted following. People who have tried it tend to anchor their weekend grocery run around the booth. One regular orders it with coconut, chocolate syrup, and half and half, which sounds like a dessert and apparently drinks like one too.

The blends carry the heart of the catalog. Luminary is the headline, with Foundation and Cooper rounding out the lineup, and the beans come out of the roaster fresh enough that buying direct is the point of the exercise. There is no sit-down counter, no pastry case, no espresso pulled to order. You are paying for beans that David roasted himself within the week, handed over by the person who roasted them.

That tight, no-frills setup is the whole appeal if you live in Alpharetta and want a relationship with the roaster instead of a chain.
