Roaster Rick takes the craft seriously and treats the coffee as the program, with the Goonies framing as the building's history rather than the cafe's whole personality. The room is bright and welcoming, crowded with quirky merchandise, comforting and friendly in a way that fits the building's pop-culture history without leaning on it too hard. The honest caveats are physical. No indoor seating, so plan to take the cup with you. The interior is crowded with merchandise, which makes the bar approach a little tight on busy days. There is no public restroom, with the port across the road handling that need. Goonies fans on pilgrimage are the obvious traffic and the predictable photo-stop crowd.
