About Athena Coffee Roasters
Athena Coffee Roasters is a women-focused coffee roaster in Webster Groves, Missouri. Its founder taught herself to roast in a garage and began selling at farmers markets around Memphis in June 2020. By 2022 its coffee was in locally owned stores across Tennessee and Mississippi.
In 2023 the founder's family moved to the St. Louis area. Athena sources coffee from women producers worldwide, with a mission to empower women through coffee. It sells online with subscriptions and runs a wholesale program.
