The room has exposed wooden rafters, cypress hardwood counters, a blue tiled bar, and vintage industrial lighting. Sliding windows open to the Florida breeze, which is the kind of detail that only registers when you've sat in a sealed-up Florida cafe with the AC on full blast. People compare the vibe to a brewery tasting room more often than to a coffee shop, and the plant-filled patio adds to that read. It's a relaxed place to spend an hour with a book.

The Honey Badger drink is the house calling card. The Bourbon Barrel Aged Cold Brew is the order for anyone who likes their coffee with a little woodshop character on the finish. The roaster is right there. Watching them work is a fair part of the appeal, and the Schmitts have built something honest enough that the garage origin still shows through in the best way.
