Bare Roots Coffee & Kava Lounge

Bare Roots Coffee & Kava Lounge is a husband-and-wife coffee and kava lounge in South Lake Tahoe. It's full of plants and local art, with a couch inside and sunny tables outside. It recently expanded to add more seating. There's an on-site lot. Alt milks are free.

The espresso has caramel, chocolate and toffee notes. Try the iced coconut mocha, a cappuccino, the Tahoe Delight latte or a raspberry mocha. There's a real kava menu too. For food, get the Breakfast Bomb.
