Barismo

Barismo is a Boston-area coffee roaster and retailer founded in 2008 by a group of baristas who met to taste, experiment and roast. They wanted a local roaster that offered transparency, barista support and the quality their coffee bar concept needed.

Barismo organized the Boston area's first barista jam in 2009 and the Northeast Regional in Somerville in 2010, and it has sponsored many barista community events since. It focuses on transparent sourcing, runs a cafe, sells coffee and subscriptions online, and offers wholesale.
