Barrel House Coffee Co

Barrel House Coffee Co. is a veteran-owned roastery and café in Ball Ground. They're known for barrel-aged coffee: the beans rest in whiskey barrels, which gives them a subtle whiskey note and a smooth cup. They roast on-site, the barrel room is right there to see, and the staff will often show you around and explain how it works.

Besides the barrel-aged coffees, there are regular roasts from light to dark. The recently renovated space is rustic, with sofas, tables, and seating inside and out, so it works for groups or solo work.

You can buy beans on-site, including the barrel-aged ones. The Ethiopian and Costa Rican are popular picks too.
