Barrister Coffee House

Barrister Coffee House is in central Basking Ridge, owned by Hassan, who works the counter and knows regulars by name. It's small, with soft lighting, limited seating inside and a covered patio. There's no wifi.

The seasonal lattes are the fun part: peppermint bark with oat milk, a baklava latte, vanilla honey and a tiramisu mocha. The cortado is a classic pick. Cold brew comes with cinnamon maple cold foam. A local baker supplies sourdough, including a sourdough chocolate chip cookie, and there's a classic warm chocolate chip cookie too.
