Beacon Coffee Roasters (formerly International Coffee, renamed in mid-2025) is in a greenhouse-style building across from MSU in Bozeman. There's a wall of windows, plants and wooden booths, and the owners are usually there. Seats fill with students, wifi is spotty and parking is hard, so walk or bike if you can. Mornings have the best light.

They roast fair trade beans in small batches. The Bee Sting and Beehive are house signatures. Try a cortado or dirty chai. There's a strawberry mocha for Valentine's and a vegan latte year-round. The ham and cheese croissant is good. They sell online, with subscriptions.
