Bear Coast Coffee

Bear Coast Coffee is a specialty roaster in South Orange County, California, founded by owner Jeff Clinard in 2014 as a coffee pop-up in the front of a wine bar.

Since then Bear Coast has served coffee to the World Surf League, sponsored Little League teams, and developed its own customer-led roasting program. It hires staff for empathy and work ethic and avoids shortcuts like inexpensive coffees and factory-made syrups. Coffee and subscriptions are sold online, and wholesale is available.
