Bird and Bear Coffee

Bird and Bear Coffee is a family-run roaster named after Dan's twin daughters. They roast to order and focus on sustainability, ethics and transparency. There's a calm storefront on Cole Street, but most people buy by subscription, mail order or at the Abraham's farmers market stand. Prices are very reasonable for specialty coffee.

Try Peek-A-Boo for espresso, Night Owl for a dark roast, Ro-Sham-Bo for variety, the Sumatra Ketiara when it's in, or the Honduras blends. Subscriptions are easy to customize, and shipping's free over a minimum. They buy from small growers.
