Blue Mind Roasting is on East 38th Street near the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. It's open early on weekends. It's roomy, with tables, couches, plants, a patio and quiet music. The restroom has free period and baby products and mutual-aid resources. Dogs get pup cups.

They roast in-house, and the baristas have won awards. Try the iced ube latte or a butterscotch latte in a ceramic mug. There's Ethiopia drip, a less-sweet pumpkin spice latte and iced matcha. Gluten-free pastries come from Native Bread, and others from Leviathan Bakehouse.
