Blue Star Coffee Roasters

Blue Star Coffee Roasters is in a newer building outside Twisp, with big windows looking out on rolling hills and the roaster in view. Roast Magazine named them one of the top three micro roasters in North America in 2017, and they won America's Best Espresso at Seattle Coffee Fest in 2012. There's no wifi or cell signal inside, on purpose. There's a dog-friendly patio, and most indoor seats are bar height.

The black and white cold brew is the drink to try. The Americano's reliable, and the Honey Bear and the rotating Dark Sky drink are favorites. On warm days, get an iced white mocha. Danishes come from local bakeries. Drinks are 12 oz. Methow Valley locals, hikers and Seattle folks passing through all stop in.
