Broadway Roasting Co. is in an old Kansas City firehouse, and the fire pole still runs through the middle of the small room. It's open weekdays only. On weekends, go to Broadway Cafe across the street. There's a patio.

They roast weekly on-site. Beans include Indian Monsooned Malabar, Sister Anne's blend, an Espresso Blend and a Yirgacheffe. Try a vanilla latte or a steamed lavender almond milk.
