Buggy Town Coffee

Buggy Town Coffee is a family-owned roastery and café in downtown Carthage, run by Daryl and his wife. It's bright and homey, with plants and plenty of seating. There's an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, a bakery with French macarons, loose-leaf tea, a kids' menu and a play café where kids can make pretend babyccinos.

They roast on-site, and the staff can tell you about origins and processing. The Kirinyaga is a favorite, and beans are often just days off the roaster. The chai concentrate and the lavender lemonade are made from scratch. The breakfast burritos and house-made pastries are popular too.
