Café Hagen (Café and Roastery)

Café Hagen is a Scandinavian-style café and roastery in Lower Queen Anne, Seattle. It's modern and cozy, with black granite counters, wood, plants and big windows. Indoor seats are limited, and there's outdoor seating. Weekends are busy.

The owner roasts weekly. The København latte is a favorite, and there are pour-overs and an espresso flight. Pastries are baked daily, like croissants, a ham and cheese with béchamel, a cardamom knot and pear crème brûlée. There's a breakfast board and salmon mousse toast.
