Cafe Santa Rosa

Cafe Santa Rosa is in the old Betty Jayne Bremmer Center for the Performing Arts in Peoria Heights. The old dumbwaiter is still there. Owner Marta serves Colombian coffee from her family's farm, which employs and trains people there. Downstairs is the bar, and upstairs is quiet, with big tables you can reserve for meetings. There's a porch. It's open some evenings.

Get the Colombian as a French press. Try a cardamom latte, winter spice latte or mocha. There are empanadas, banana bread, avocado toast, croissants and organic teas.
