The Aero Coffee, iced with condensed milk, is the regular order at Caffeine Roasters on Dale Mabry. The Caramel Delite iced coffee is the close runner-up. This is the walk-in-only Tampa location, off Dale Mabry in a plaza, and the mothership cafe at Kennedy and Armenia is the one with the drive-thru. Worth knowing if you pulled up expecting a window. Two cafes, two formats, one menu, and the Dale Mabry version is the walk-in side of the operation.
The room is small, modern, and brightly decorated. Well put together for its size. Not designed for long stays. Seating is limited and fills quickly, and the layout does not pretend otherwise. The food handles breakfast respectably: avocado toast, an omelet, gluten-free cookies for the gluten-free crowd. Lattes and cappuccinos are competent enough to make the food worth pairing. The Caramel Delite earns its name without becoming a dessert in a cup. The Aero, served iced with condensed milk, is the move that distinguishes the Caffeine bar from the rest of the Tampa cafe landscape, and it is the drink first-timers should order to understand what the shop is about.
This is a quick-stop cafe, not a laptop one. Plaza parking is tight enough that a busy hour will test your patience. Dogs are not part of the picture. The seating is not built for a three-hour session, and the team has not pretended it is. Show up for a sharp iced coffee on the way somewhere else, or for a fast breakfast, and the place delivers. Show up looking for a long sit-down and the room will fight you. For Dale Mabry commuters who want a strong cup and a piece of avocado toast before the rest of the day, the equation is the point of the location. For an extended session, drive over to a different cafe and come back here when you have ten minutes.
