CAJÉ Coffee Roasters is in Santa Barbara's design district. By day it's a coffee shop, and at night it becomes Lab Social, a speakeasy. It's industrial with couches, work tables, a fireplace and an outdoor courtyard. Pets are welcome, there are plenty of outlets, and the wifi can be spotty.
Jupiter's Forest is served over smoking wood chips. The Rose Matcha Latte is a local favorite, and the cortados and cappuccinos are solid. The natural Ethiopians stand out. The avocado toast on thick focaccia is popular.
