Char & Stave

Char & Stave in Ardmore is a coffee shop by day and a cocktail bar by night, in the same room. The baristas have been around a while, and regulars know Kelsi, Mobsie, Christian, Ezra and Amber by name. They roast their own coffee.

It's laptops in the morning and board games and nightcaps in the evening. There's bar seating and tables, though it's snug for groups larger than four or five. Dogs are welcome inside, and there are open mic nights, so check the calendar if you want it quiet. The wifi can be spotty.

The whiskey smash latte is the fun one to try. The iced decaf maple latte and the iced matcha with strawberry are favorites, and in the evening there are seasonal cocktails.
