Clocktower Coffee Roasting Company has been in Mountain View since 1998. It's roomy, with sofas and work tables, local art for sale, and gifts and cards. There's seating inside and out. Wifi's available, but outlets are limited.

They roast in-house every few days. The Brazilian drip and the cold brew are favorites, the espresso is balanced, and the mocha's one of the best-loved drinks in the South Bay.

You can buy beans to take home, including single origins like the Kenya, a peaberry and a Malabar. Buy a bag and you'll get a free drink.
