Coffee By Design

Coffee By Design has been bringing people together over coffee in Portland, Maine since 1994. It describes itself as Maine-made, 100% woman-owned and fiercely independent.

The company opened as a community coffeehouse and later moved its roastery from India Street to an expanded Washington Street location. It emphasizes relationships with farmers and community involvement. Coffee is sold online and to wholesale customers.
