Compelling Coffee Roasters is a tiny counter on N Las Palmas in Hollywood. It's mostly standing room, with a few sidewalk tables. Tania, Mason and Alex work the bar. There's no wifi. Dogs aren't allowed inside, but there's a pickup window.

They roast ethically sourced coffee in-house. The pistachio latte is the order. There are breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, banana bread and croissants. They offer subscriptions.
