The room is bigger than the storefront suggests. Wood throughout, lounge seating, ample tables, chill background music in the background, outlets within reach of most chairs. It reads farm-market more than corporate cafe, the kind of room where the chairs do not match on purpose and the wood on the counter has been worn smooth by elbows.

The coffee is house-roasted and the baked case is built in house too, with a real gluten-free section that is not an afterthought. A coconut and guava cupcake gets named by name. So does the almond cake, which the staff will warm for you. Seasonal lattes pull from the same playful kitchen: vanilla cardamom one week, Ube iced mocha another. Jessica behind the counter knows what is what and will steer you toward the drink that fits the morning.

Order a stacker toast or the avocado mango. Get the Green Phoenix if you want something herbal. Iced cinnamon bun if you want dessert pretending to be a drink. The gluten-free coconut guava cupcake earns its callouts, and the warmed almond cake with a cortado is the rainy-afternoon order. The vanilla cardamom is the play if you want a milk drink that does not taste like every other cafe's.

The trade-off is the one every good neighborhood shop with outlets faces. Laptop campers can claim tables and stay, and at the wrong hour you will circle for a seat. Come early, come at off-times, or come knowing you might end up on a couch with your toast balanced on a knee. If you are studying or working remote, this is exactly what you want, with the food and drink menu to make a four-hour stretch feel like a meal rather than an occupation. If you are meeting someone for a quick coffee, time it for the off-peak window. Either way, it rewards the regular who learns the rhythms.
