Cooperative Coffee Roasters

Cooperative Coffee Roasters is an Asheville, North Carolina roaster and cafe that started roasting in 2019. Its stated goal is coffees that are sweet, bright and clean, and it is committed to paying farmers profitable wages.

The 2,000-square-foot roastery beneath the cafe holds a Loring S15 Falcon, a sample roaster, a green coffee and quality-control lab, and a training center. The cafe is up the hill from the French Broad River Greenway and the River Arts District. Coffee is roasted to order online, with a monthly coffee club, and wholesale is available.
