Cortado BC

Cortado BC in North Phoenix used to be King Coffee Roastery. It's small and lived-in, with lounge chairs, work tables and a patio. It gets crowded at peak times, and weekends can mean a wait. The staff know regulars by name.

They roast daily on-site. The cortado is the namesake, and the lavender cold brew is a seasonal favorite. There are pastries, breakfast and lunch on house-baked bread. The Southwest chicken sandwich and pozole are popular, plus big brownies and carrot cake. Beans are for sale.
