Couplet Coffee

Couplet Coffee is a queer-owned shop with five LA cafés: Echo Park, DTLA, Hollywood, West Hollywood and Santa Monica. The Echo Park room is colorful, with art and sometimes live music or DJs. Inside is small, but there's lots of dog-friendly seating outside and free wifi. Parking is street only. Oat milk is free, and an 8 oz flat white is about $7.

Matcha is ceremonial. Try banana n' cream, strawberry or brown sugar einspänner matcha, or the cardamom rose saffron drink. There's coffee cola, donuts, breakfast sandwiches and a tuna melt. They offer subscriptions.
