Two sisters run Cupla Coffee, and that fact shows up in how the place treats guests. They host wedding brunches. They open on holidays when other shops in Kimball Junction stay dark. They go out of their way in the way only owner-operators bother to. The space sits below the Newpark resort, bright and clean, with a big sofa anchoring a room of tables and chairs. The energy reads calm rather than busy on a weekday morning, which makes it easy to settle in with a friend or a dog before the resort crowds turn up. The drink list earns its regulars on the cortado, the lavender lattes (hot or iced), and a white espresso latte that locals reach for more often than the menu suggests. Breakfast sandwiches and burritos move steadily through the morning, and the pastry case is worth a look on the way in. The BEC and the biscuit sandwich are the standard starting points. If you came here to plug in and grind through email, you will be disappointed: outlets are scarce, and seating fills enough on weekends that long laptop sessions start to feel inconsiderate to the people waiting for a table. Cupla is built for brunch, for grab-and-go, for friends catching up over a cortado before the rest of Park City wakes up, and for the visitor who wants a sister-run shop instead of a Starbucks across the parking lot.
