Deep Barrel

Deep Barrel opened in 2022 in Norco, aka Horse Town USA, and there's a real hitching post out front if you ride in. Inside it's cozy, modern and faith-centered, and it smells like fresh coffee. Owner Jay R is often behind the counter, and plenty of regulars stop in a few times a week.

The pour-over setup includes V60, Chemex and siphon. The Guatemalan as a pour-over is a good place to start. The roasts run medium to dark. For house drinks, there's the Lavenilla Honey Drizzled Latte, the Classic Cowboy with chocolate drizzle and the Chocolate Milano Cold Brew.

Dessert's a big part of the menu: baklava, cowboy cookies and fried ice cream, which is their specialty. Regulars come from Norco, Eastvale and Corona, and families like watching the horses go by from the window.
