About Dose Coffee Co
Dose Coffee Co is a small-batch specialty roaster in Raritan, New Jersey, founded in 2020 by owner and roaster Dave Vioreanu. Its motto is simple: Dose is for people who take coffee seriously, but not themselves.
After a family trip to Portugal and Spain, where the espresso in Lisbon left a lasting impression, Dose sharpened its focus to single-origin espresso. Each month it releases a new regular and a new decaf picked with espresso in mind (big body, bold flavor, balanced acidity), though they brew just as well as drip, pour-over or French press. It also roasts "omni-roast" coffees, such as a Costa Rica Finca Amistad, a Congo Virunga and a Colombia El Vergel decaf, roasting on demand and shipping fresh, with subscriptions available.
There's no cafe to visit. Dose sells online and supplies cafes and restaurants wholesale, and it offers toll and private-label roasting for brands that want coffee under their own name.
