Ebenezers Coffeehouse

Ebenezers Coffeehouse is on Capitol Hill near Union Station, in a historic building with exposed brick and lots of natural light. There are high-tops, upholstered chairs and a big communal table, plus a lower level that sometimes has live music, and outdoor tables. It's run by National Community Church, and all profits go to community outreach. Wifi can be spotty when it's busy.

The coffee is organic and fair trade from One Village Coffee, a B Corp. The honey lavender latte is a favorite, and the cortados and cold brew are solid. House-made pastries include cinnamon rolls, kolaches and a mushroom cheese turnover. There are breakfast items and sandwiches. You can buy bags in-store and online.
