About

Ryosuke is the barista to know about. Reviewers single him out for latte art and brewing knowledge, which at a new Bedford cafe is the kind of detail that signals someone is paying attention to the craft and not just running through a Starbucks playbook with better beans. Euphoria sits on Great Road near the end of the Minuteman Bike Trail, which gives the place a steady cyclist clientele and a clear sense of who's walking in on a Saturday morning in lycra.

The space is clean and minimalist with classical music in the background, big windows looking out at Great Road traffic, a large room with plenty of tables and bench seating. Calm and soothing on quiet days. Packed enough to need extra chairs on busy ones, which is the kind of new-cafe problem that tells you the formula is working. Per-table outlets and USB charging at the bench seating make it a real laptop room rather than a place that tolerates laptops grudgingly.

The bakery program leans Japanese and European, which is rarer than it should be in the Boston suburbs where the default is muffin and scone. Brown sugar croissants and blueberry cream croissants are the pastry items reviewers come back for. The bulgogi sandwich crosses the lunch line and lands. The breakfast sandwich is the safe morning pick.

On the drink side, the latte and the raspberry mocha work for the milky end of the menu. The pour-over is the move for tasting the house roasts clean. The flat white holds up. Skip the iced Americano, one customer found it weak and there's no reason to push back on that finding when the rest of the menu has more interesting options. Free WiFi runs alongside the outlets to complete the laptop setup.

One real limitation worth flagging. Decaf drinkers are limited to espresso drinks, with no brewed or pour-over decaf available. If you're dragging someone in who can't do caffeine and they don't want a latte, that's a conversation to have before walking through the door.

The right stop for cyclists finishing the Minuteman, laptop workers who need outlets and a calm room, and pastry-curious customers who want something more than a muffin in a case.
