Factotum Coffee on N Tripp Ave in Chicago is a specialty roaster that sources beans directly from producers. The shop is big, with lots of seating and study space, so remote workers and students can usually find a table. It has a nice buzz without being loud.

They roast in-house. Oat lattes and drip are the usual orders, plus whatever specialty drink is on. The menu's mostly drinks, with little food. Wifi works for most people, but don't count on it for a long video call. You can also order beans online for delivery.
