Flux Coffee

Flux Coffee is in downtown Farmingdale, with exposed brick, custom furniture and good lighting. There are couches, work tables with outlets and a small patio.

They roast light in-house, and the Ground Control brewer makes clean single-origin cups. Favorites include the honey cardamom latte and espresso lemonade. Espresso comes with sparkling water and an orange slice. The syrups are house-made, with oat and macadamia milk options. The pastries are house-made too. Look for the crispy-topped muffins and mango lassi cookies.

You can buy rotating single origins and blends by the bag, and the staff are happy to talk coffee.
