Forestry Coffee

Forestry Coffee is a cabin-style café off IL-37 outside Benton, with a wrap-around porch and rocking chairs. Travelers and campers from the state park near Whittington make up a lot of the traffic. Inside, it's cozy and rustic, with soft seating.

They roast in-house. The flavored lattes are popular, especially the blackberry iced latte and the iced maple breve. If you'd rather taste the coffee on its own, try a straight drip or the nitro cold brew. There's matcha too.

The lot is small, so weekends can be a squeeze. Early mornings are the easiest time to get a rocking chair.
