Gäbi Coffee & Bakery

Gäbi Coffee & Bakery is a Korean-inspired café in Las Vegas, and you go in through an unmarked wooden door. Inside, it's split into different spaces: a greenhouse-style nook full of light, a library corner with wooden steps and old books, armchairs and sofas, and communal tables. The ceilings are high and the lighting's warm.

The coffee comes from a Korean roaster. Alongside the classics there are drinks like the Taro Fairy Latte and Butterfly Pea Tea. The bakery side is a big part of the appeal, especially the macarons and layered crepe cakes. The kitchen also makes a grilled ham-and-cheese pesto sandwich and baked potato soup.

Prices run higher than a typical coffee shop, and it gets busy at peak times with both locals and visitors. It's an easy place to lose an hour among the books.
