Ghost Town Coffee Roasters

Ghost Town Coffee Roasters was built for ski bums. The name comes from the original target customer, people driving to Bridger Bowl, and the cafe sits a short hop from the mountain on a stretch where parking is genuinely easier than anything downtown Bozeman offers. The roasting happens in a back room the crew calls The Lab. Wholesale customers come through a separate entrance. The cafe itself is the kind of industrial-rustic space that has settled in over time: plants, big windows, a mix of two-person tables, a long community table, a raised bar and a few couches near the front. The flat white is the move on the espresso side, and the in-house roast list rotates with a Mexico and an El Salvador that the baristas will happily talk through if you ask. Ask. They want to. The breakfast burrito is the food order regulars repeat without thinking about it. The gluten-free huckleberry-blueberry scones (sometimes mixed berry depending on the season) are the case item to grab while you wait. A breve, an iced chai, an El Salvador drip: all fine starting points. The room is welcoming and relaxed, but it is not silent. One regular flagged that this is not quite the spot for a four-hour deep-focus session, which sounds right when you walk in on a Saturday morning and hear the volume. Treat Ghost Town as a stop on the way to or from the mountain, a place to sit with a dog and a drip while you wait for friends, or as the local roaster you visit when you want to talk to someone behind the counter who knows their beans. The parking is easy. The coffee is the point. That combination is harder to find in Bozeman than it should be, and Ghost Town has been doing it long enough that the regulars assume it will be there next season.
