Gost Coffee Roasters is at 1333 S Schoolhouse Road in New Lenox, behind a gate in an industrial lot with no sign, so double-check the address. Inside, there's a roastery with a pizza counter, local art for sale, a resident dog and owner Daniel usually on-site. There's a big patio, and they host Cars and Coffee events. Music can be loud.

They roast small batches. The dark chocolate cherry coffee is a house signature. The Karl is half chai, half horchata. Try the cold brew with pistachio or an oat latte with peanut butter. The Mexican blend and the Ethiopian are good bags to take home. Drinks are about $8.
