About

Great Circle Coffee will turn you away at the door, and that's not a knock on the operation. The website and the front desk both make it clear: this is a Miami wholesale roaster, not a customer-facing cafe. Walk-ins are politely redirected. Customers who toured the facility back around 2016 confirm what the marketing claims, which is small-batch, organic, with full traceability on every bag.

The lineup leans single-origin. The Adipy Ethiopia is the standout on the menu, with a clean profile that rewards pourover and Chemex setups. The Kenya works well in a French press, which is the right call for that origin's body and acid balance. Cafe Femenino and Finca La Providencia round out the regulars. Beans ship freshly roasted-to-order, which is what you're paying for at this price point.

The customer base splits between coffee shops nationally that buy wholesale and home brewers who order direct. Either way, the model is shipping. If you want traceable organic single-origins from a roaster that documents its sourcing, this is the kind of operation specialty drinkers should know about. If you want to sit at a bar and drink an espresso pulled by the roaster, look elsewhere in Miami. The wholesale side is where most of the volume goes, which is why a cafe was never the point.
