About Grounds 4 Compassion
Grounds 4 Compassion is a family-owned roastery in Bethany that runs as a charitable mission. The drip coffee up front is free: anyone can come in and pour a cup. It's faith-based and welcoming to everyone. Their site says they pick coffees from ethical sources and roast everything on-site, with a mission to "Pour Into Others."
The room's bright and clean, with the roaster on the premises and comfortable seating. You can stop in for ten minutes or stay for thirty.
The lineup sticks to classics. There's a Swiss Water decaf, Heaven's Blend for espresso, a Celebes dark roast and the Rainforest blend for everyday drinking. You can buy retail bags or bulk, and it's worth asking what came off the roaster most recently.
