Harriet & Oak

Harriet & Oak in Rapid City is an industrial-modern café with exposed brick, wood beams and lots of light. There's a converted Volkswagen bus you can sit in, and a cozy upstairs loft. Hours are Monday to Saturday 7am–4pm and Sunday 8am–4pm.

They roast in-house. French press, pour-over and cold brew are all popular, and the spiced chai is a local favorite that isn't too sweet. The homemade pop tarts are the signature pastry. For breakfast there are sweet potato breakfast burritos and waffles, and at lunch there are salads and sandwiches. Açaí bowls are popular too.

The wifi's reliable and there are lots of outlets. It works for Sunday brunch, a coffee date or some quiet reading. They offer a military discount.
