Hartford Coffee Company has air-roasted small batches in Tower Grove South, St. Louis, since 2004. It's near Tower Grove Park and the Botanical Garden. It's sunny, with a quiet room, a kids' play area, a street patio, a back garden and plenty of outlets. Wifi can be spotty at peak times.
Coffee is Fair Trade and organic. Rainforest Crunch is a favorite, and the cold brew is popular. Try a big cinnamon roll, a muffone, the steak and cheese bagel or biscuits and gravy. Beans come by the pound, ground to order.
