Hawthorne Coffee Roasters

Hawthorne Coffee Roasters is in an old bowling alley in Milwaukee, and you can still see the lanes in the floor. It's big, with communal tables, armchairs, bar seats and a patio.

They roast on-site. Try a pour-over, the bourbon barrel-aged cold brew or the espresso and tonic with bitters and orange peel. Scones and muffins are baked daily, like the Bourbon Old Fashioned muffin. Breakfast sandwiches come with house pimento cheese.
