Heartwood Coffee Roasters is part of a small Cleveland-area chain that roasts in-house. This shop is in Pinecrest, the outdoor mall in Orange Village. The room's warm and bright, with lots of seating inside and on the covered and open patios. The wifi is very fast.

The avocado toast is the standout. To drink, try the maple latte or the smoked maple latte, depending on the season. The matcha's whisked in a bowl, and espresso comes with a small glass of San Pellegrino. There's also a cortado, a chocolate latte with dino cookies, and an iced coffee with oat milk and honey.

It can get crowded and noisy at peak times, and Pinecrest parking takes a few minutes. If you're bringing a dog, ask before sitting on the patio.
