Helm Coffee

Helm Coffee was founded by Jillon Potter, who played professional rugby at the international level for nearly a decade before turning to specialty coffee. Graphic designer Justin Bull joined in Helm's first week, and the two source, roast and brew together.

Helm roasts light, choosing coffees for their varietal, growing region and producer. Its cafe and roastery are at 2324 Shelby St. in Indianapolis, open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It roasts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and sells coffee and subscriptions online.
