Hidden Grounds Chai & Coffee House

Hidden Grounds has eight cafés in New Jersey and New York, and this one is in Williamsburg. It's cozy, with dried flowers and family photos, 15 to 20 seats and sidewalk tables. Laptop tables are small. You can order on a tablet. Dogs get treats.

Chai is the focus, like masala, rose, cardamom and a lavender brew. There's New Orleans cold brew, brown sugar cold brew and filter coffee. Try the blueberry gulab jamun donut, banana bread or onion tart. Chai mixes are sold online.
